In the past I have received knowledgeable support from Quickbooks without extra pay for it. After alternately talking and waiting for an hour I was told that they could only email to me the same instructions I already had unless I was willing to pay several hundred dollars to continue to talk, even though it was apparent they did not know the answer to my question and had been searching for an hour to attempt to find an answer. I talked with a person with a very strong accent, which was made more difficult to hear by the sound of a rooster crowing consistently in the background. Secondly, I tried the "call and talk to a support person" method. ![]() Finally, they asked me to wait, which I did for over an hour, before having to disconnect the chat when I could no longer get any response. According to this person's questions it was apparent they did not even understand basic Quickbooks functions as they were asking me how I had accomplished the basics of setting up an account and entering transactions into that account. First, I tried the "chat with a Quickbooks support person" method. So, I concluded, that I needed some more help. QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2019 with Enhanced Payroll is one of the easiest ways to pay your taxes and make sure your employees get paid on time. I found the Quickbook instructions online for this situation, but could not make Quickbooks Desktop version work according to the instructions. Recently, I have struggled to properly account in Quickbooks Desktop for a vendor refund. ![]() I have used Quickbooks for over 20 years and Payroll for about 6 years.
